About Me

Born in 1970, I have been a certified personal trainer since 1998. My interest in fitness began when I was 13 years old after my father passed away from a heart attack in my hometown of El Paso, Texas. I realized I needed to make a change to my food intake as well as extracurricular activities in school if I wanted to live a long and healthy life. I was introduced to school athletics where I excelled in High School football and wrestling, including going to state for wrestling three years in a row. I walked on to the football program at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a scholarship that helped me to major in disciplinary studies and minor in kinesiology.

My professional career began as a middle school coach and teacher. My coworkers’ continual requests for fitness advice led me to start training at the local YMCA where I was inspired to become a certified personal trainer and start my own business and gym. In 2000, I started competing in bodybuilding competitions. In 2005, I placed 5th in the world at Muscle Mania. I then switched to the National Physique Committee (NPC), competing in bodybuilding, classic physique, and physique, where I placed in several competitions and continue to compete. I moved to San Antonio in 2014 where I have been training since.

My goal is to help as many people as possible to be able to live life to the absolute fullest. I teach my clients how to incorporate proper nutrition and maximize their workouts while showing them the fundamentals and proper techniques to gain lasting results. My ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for all of my clients.
